FUSION FAQ

HOW DO I REGISTER MY DANCER FOR CLASSES?

Visit us at 320 W Westfield Ave in Roselle Park, NJ to inquire about the availability of classes and fill out a registration form, or register online here. We do not currently accept registrations via phone.

IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE? WHAT DO I NEED TO REGISTER?

Yes. There is a yearly registration fee of $25 per student, or $40 for a family.
Upon registering at Fusion Dance Centre, we ask for the registration fee as well as first & last months tuition.

WHAT IF MY DANCER IS YOUNGER THAN THE AGE FOR THE CLASS?

Our cutoff date for the posted ages of the class is October 1st. This means that if a class is for ages 5-7 a dancer must be turning five years old by October 1st. This is for the safety of your dancer.

WHAT IS YOUR LATENESS AND ATTENDANCE POLICY?

Life is unpredictable and we are sympathetic to the occasional late arrival. However, the beginning of each class contains a crucial warm up period that prepares the body for high levels of activity. To prevent injuries from developing, please try to arrive on time for class each week.
If your dancer must miss a class for any reason, please call the studio to notify the instructor. Makeup classes are available to all students, as refunds will not be issued for any missed classes.
At the teacher’s discretion, students with excessive absences may be required to take a private lesson

WHAT IS YOUR WITHDRAWL POLICY?

If a dancer chooses to withdraw from a class, the office must be notified by filling out a withdrawal form by the 1st of the month, or you will still be charged for that month’s tuition. Tuition is non-refundable.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE AND SHOE REQUIREMENT?

Yes. Fusion Dance Centre's 2018-2019 dress code and shoe requirements can be viewed here.

DO YOU HAVE A RECITAL?

Yes! Our Fall-Spring schedule has a Recital at the end of the spring. Participation is optional but highly encouraged.
Professional, age-appropriate costumes are ordered in the Fall and all accounts will be notified of costume prices in October. Early payments ensure that costumes are ordered and delivered well in advance of the Recital to allow time for any size exchanges.
Our Summer schedule does not have a Recital or Performance at the end of the session.

WHY DO YOU INDICATE WHAT RECITAL EACH CLASS WILL BE IN BEFORE REGISTERING?

By doing so, Families with multiple dancers or dancers in multiple classes are able to select classes in the same show. This will reduce the number of tickets needed and increase seat availability.
