From Monday, May 3rd–Saturday, May 8th we will be having an in-studio Dress Rehearsal for our May Recital in full costume, hair and makeup. We will rehearse the entire Recital process with students so they are confident on stage!
Please read the reminders below to prepare.
1) Dancers should arrive in their costume.
Girls should not wear underwear but instead wear the tights that were given with the costume.
Wear the included accessories as indicated on the garment bag instructions.
No dangling or hoop earrings are permitted.
Girl’s hair should be slicked back into a low bun with no bangs. Neutral eyeshadow and mascara are optional.
Boys should “do” their hair with gel or hairspray so it does not fall in their eyes.
2) All dancers are required to wear a mask.
We encourage them to wear a mask that compliments their costume, however they may wear any mask that they are excited about! A solid white or black mask is a great option that you may already have at home.
3) Parents are not permitted to attend Dress Rehearsal due to capacity restrictions, but we will take photos & videos to share with you!
4) After their rehearsal, Dancers in Tiny Toes, A Star is Born 1, and Hip Tots 1 will be finished for the day and may go home with their guardian.
The rehearsal will begin at the start of their class time and should last no longer than 15 minutes. Parents are permitted to stay in the waiting room.
*Rehearsals will happen during regular class times! Dancers will have class while not rehearsing.*

*EACH FAMILY IS GUARANTEED TWO SEATS FOR EACH SHOW THAT THEIR DANCER IS PERFORMING IN*
If a family has more than one dancer performing in a show, they will still only be guaranteed two tickets for that show.
Seats will be sold in sets of two, or "pods". Audience pods will be distanced at least 6 feet apart.
A family's two-seat allotment will be reserved via the purchase of one audience pod. Audience members are required to wear masks at all times, including while sitting in their pod.
PRICE PER POD: $40
*Customary online fees may apply*
One audience pod sits two people.
In accordance with NJ Health Regulations, we are currently limiting our audience to 150 people per show.
Any remaining audience pods for a show, after each family has been allotted one, will automatically be raffled among that show's participants. If you are not interested in purchasing extra audience pods, please let the office know so we can give the opportunity to another family.
Should NJ Health Regulations change and a higher audience capacity becomes allowed, additional audience pods will be made available.
**The rain dates for our performances are May 21st-23rd.**
