Miss Alexis is a dancer, educator and choreographer who received her Master’s degree (EdM) in Dance Education from the Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2019, and acquired a PK-12 Teaching Certificate with Advanced Standing in Dance from the New Jersey Department of Education. She received a BFA in Dance Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, graduating Cum Laude.

Alexis is continuing to pilot a new full-year middle school dance program for her students in Woodbridge Township Public School District. Her other teaching credits include Elizabeth Public Schools, Hubbard Middle School, Cranford High School, Lincoln School, and First Avenue Elementary School. She is very enthusiastic about bringing a smile to others through the beautiful art form of dance and is very excited to share her passion for dance with the amazing FDC students!
