Miss Lisa is a classically trained ballet dancer and began her journey at the New Jersey School of Ballet and at age12, her training migrated to Princeton Ballet’s Career Track and Professional Training Program. As a five-year member of the Junior Company, Princeton Ballet II, and Audree Estey/Ruth Pettit scholarship recipient, Miss Lisa performed in many classical and contemporary ballets including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet. She also trained at Pennsylvania Ballet's Rock School, the Joffrey Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet at NYU. Beyond dance, Miss Lisa gravitates toward musical theater and had the great privilege of performing leading roles in Carousel (Louise) at NJPAC, Guys & Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney) and Cabaret (Sally Bowles). In 1998, she was offered a coveted spot in the BFA Dance program at Juilliard, as well as a contract with Webre's American Repertory Ballet, and landed at Cornell University to pursue all her passions, leading to a 16-year career on Wall Street. While living in NYC, Miss Lisa performed on some of the city’s notable stages including the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, Choreographers' On Pointe at the Harkness Dance Center, Webster Hall, NYC SummerStage, Theater for the New City and CityParks Dance. Miss Lisa recently “retired” from the finance industry to focus on her two dancing daughters, Amalia and Alexandra, and mini b-boy son, Troy. She has also been teaching fitness and indoor cycling over the last ten years and is absolutely thrilled to return to the Fusion faculty for her second season.
