Mr. AJ, M.S. Ac., has been teaching dance since 2010, and is widely known for his compassionate and energetic teaching style, visually stimulating choreography, and anatomically precise technique. He has taught classes, judged competitions, and led workshops for dancers and teachers alike across the country. Using his deep knowledge in the healing arts and dance, he creates classes that help dancers bring finesse to their technique; voice to their inner creative spirit; and calm self-awareness to their physical, emotional, and mental faculties. AJ's experience as a healer includes being a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of New Jersey, currently being enrolled in an accredited two-year Chinese Medical Herbalism program and working as a certified Reiki Master and previously as a massage therapist; and is also an Adjunct Professor in a M.S. Ac. program teaching Chinese medical massage (Tui-Na). He expects to complete his Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine degree in December of 2024, and received his BFA in Dance from Montclair State University and has additional experience in yoga and contortion.
