Miss Alyssa is a passionate dance educator, choreographer, and competition dance judge who loves helping dancers discover confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for movement. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Alyssa began dancing at the age of 7 and quickly fell in love with the art form. She trained in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop at Artistry Dance Alliance under the direction of Logan Tharpe, where she also had the opportunity to begin teaching as a teaching assistant.

Alyssa went on to attend the University of Florida, where she was a member of the Dazzlers, the university’s official dance team. Through performing at sporting events and throughout the community, she continued to grow as a dancer while discovering her passion for teaching. Since then, she has taught dancers of all ages in styles including contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballet, acrobatics, pom, technique, and stretch & strength.

As a choreographer, Alyssa has created competition routines that have earned numerous overall placements and choreography awards throughout the Southeast. She also serves as a competition dance judge for Platinum National Dance Competition, allowing her to continue learning from and celebrating dancers from studios across the country.

Now based in Harrison, NJ, Alyssa is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with the next generation. She strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where dancers feel challenged to grow, supported in their journey, and inspired to become confident artists both on and off the stage.
