Courtney Gelmetti

Instructor

Miss Courtney is a graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance with minors in General Business Studies and Sales Management. Her training started at a very young age under the watchful eye of her mother, Patricia Schumacher. Over the years, Miss Courtney studied intensely in ballet, pointe, partnering, jazz, contemporary, musical theater & lyrical. Her teachers have included Douglas Martin, Mary Barton, Erika Mero, Nancy Bielski, Micheal Mindlin and Geoffrey Doig-Marx. She performed nationally with some of her favorite venues being The Forum in LA, The Oracle in Oakland, and The Orleans in Las Vegas. She is a former member of Introspective Movement project and Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater.
Miss Courtney is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Additional certifications include Progressive Ballet Technique and Acrobatic Arts Module One. Besides teaching, you can find her behind the judge's table for Imagine Dance Challenge and Impact Dance Adjudicators. She is thrilled to pass on her knowledge & love of dance to the next generation!
