Ella Vasquez
Events & Summer Camp Coordinator and Instructor
Miss Ella is a professional dancer, actress, and teaching artist based in the New York City metropolitan area. With over seven years of teaching experience, she is passionate about helping students build confidence, creativity, and strong technical foundations through the arts.
Ella began her training as a competitive dancer and gymnast before transitioning into commercial dance and street styles in college. After graduating, she continued her professional training in New York City, at Brickhouse NYC under Kelly Peters and alongside renowned choreographers and dancers including Nycole Altchiler, Brandon Trent, Sabina Lundgren, Hamly Tavarez, Charles Smith, and others.
Her training and performance experience span a variety of styles, including hip hop, house, lite feet, street jazz, contemporary, heels, latin dance, and more. Ella was a member of Brickhouse NYC’s hip hop crew and contemporary fusion company MiXrz, as well as Transcendence Dance Company. Throughout her career, she has performed at many events and venues including World of Dance NYC, On The Radar, Club NYC, Sybarite, and NYC Dance Alliance. Most recently, Ella has performed in the Puerto Rican Day Parade, opening for the acclaimed reggaeton duo Alex y Fido. She also debuted her original hip hop and heels choreography featuring an all-adult cast at the Accord Showcase in Jersey City. In addition to her dance career, Ella is a working actress currently studying Acting for Film at The Barrow Group in New York City. She has appeared in several independent films as well as vertical series and has been featured at the Montclair Film Festival.
As an instructor here at Fusion, Ella emphasizes strong fundamentals, artistry, self-expression, and confidence-building. Her goal is to help each dancer reach their full potential while developing a lifelong appreciation for the arts. She is deeply committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where young artists can grow, thrive, and innovate!
